Truck Comapany #1 operates at the rescue of an injured farmer from a silo in the Town of Minden on February 23, 2007. The injured party suffered an amputation of his lower leg and required extrication from the silo.

Deputy Chief Dean Countryman Sr. and Chief Jamie Carter gain access to the silo by removing a section of the chute.

Removal of the chute allows for removal of the patient inside the silo.

The patient is removed from the silo on a backboard and is placed in a stokes basket prior to being lowered to the ground.
