Truck Company #1 operates at a large fire in the Village of Herkimer. 11 Departments responded to this fire, which began as a fire in the kitchen of one of the apartments. This fire consumed two large three story apartment buildings with commercial store fronts. Four other commercial buildings sustained minimal damage as a result of this fire.
Village of Herkimer and City of Little Falls Tower Ladders are set up on Main Street in the Village of Herkimer to provide large bore fire suppression.
Ilion Fire Departments Tower Ladder and Mohawk Firefighters attack the fire from the south side, protecting two of the (B) side exposures consisting of the Empire Diner and a small office complex and the (C) side exposure which consisted of the South side of a large 3 story commercial structure. All three exposures suffered only minimal damage.

Frankfort Fire Department were charged with (C) and (D) side exposure protection consisting of the North side of a large 3 story commercial structure and the West side of another 2 story apartment building with commercial store front.. Both exposures sustain only minor damage.
