Joseph Rider

Joseph Rider passed away on January 18th, 2010. Joe was the longtime active member of the St. Johnsville Fire Department serving 60 years. His hard work, dedication and compassion will stand as a reminder for all who knew and loved him.

Joe became a member of the St. Johnsville Fire Department on July 1st of 1950. In his 60 years of service to the Fire Department, Joe served with dedication and a commitment to the lives and property of the residents of the Village of St. Johnsville and our surrounding communities.

We will all miss Joe, a true Friend, a true Man, a true Leader and a true Firefighter.

In Memory

The Departments 1878 Hook and Ladder Cart was placed in front of the Funeral Home in Dedication to Joseph Rider during the viewing hours.
