ST. JOHNSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Roland Swartz
Roland Swartz passed away on June 7th, 2006 after a battle with cancer. Roland was a driving force in making the St. Johnsville Fire Department what it is today. His hard work, dedication and compassion will stand as a reminder for all who knew and loved him. Roland was a man who can never be replaced, we can only strive to follow his example and carry on his legacy.

Roland became a member of the St. Johnsville Fire Department in May of 1944. In his 62 years of service to the Fire Department, Roland served as Assistant Chief, Fire Councilman, and Treasurer.

We will all miss Roland, a true Friend, a true Man, a true Firefighter.
