Wilfred Kraft

Wilfred Kraft passed away on January 16th, 2010. Wilfred was the longest serving active member of the St. Johnsville Fire Department serving 69 years. His hard work, dedication and compassion will stand as a reminder for all who knew and loved him.

Wilfred became a member of the St. Johnsville Fire Department on January 1st of 1941. In his 69 years of service to the Fire Department, Wilfred served with dedication and a commitment to the lives and property of the residents of the Village ofSt. Johnsville and our surrounding communities.

We will all miss Wilfred, a true Friend, a true Man, a true Leader and a true Firefighter.

The Departments 1878 Hook and Ladder Cart was placed in front of the Funeral Home in Dedication to Wilfred Kraft durring the viewing hours.
